How TeleAssisted Visits Work
Onsite Virtual Exams
with your Medical Provider
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, UCHC has had to adapt to meet the needs of the community by implementing:
-
Telehealth via Telephone Visits
-
Telehealth via TeleVideo Visits (doxy.me)
-
Telehealth via TeleAssisted Visits (TytoCare)
TytoCare is a smart device with a high definition camera, Otoscope and Stethoscope that allows our medical providers to perform a near complete physical exam remotely.
With TytoCare, we can remotely monitor your temperature and heart rate. We can also investigate your ear canal, throat, any skin condition, as well as listen for abnormalities in your lungs, heart, and abdomen.
Our goal with TeleAssisted visits with TytoCare is to quickly move our patient from the front office to the exam room and minimize exposure while still maintaining quality of care in a true clinical setting.

For Universal Community Health Center, TytoCare is the future of TeleAssisted visits that will get us through the COVID-19 pandemic safely while still providing onsite competent medical care to our underserved communities.

With Tyto, our providers can examine your heart, lungs, throat, ears, skin, abdomen, heart rate, and body temperature, and diagnose and treat many of the most common conditions, such as:
-
Ear infections
-
Cold and flu
-
Fever
-
Headaches
