What is a Dermatology Physician Assistant?

A physician assistant trained in dermatology is able to evaluated, diagnose and treat a variety of disease of the skin, hair, and nails. A physician assistant is trained in dermatology by a board certified dermatologist and obtains additional education through continued medical education hours, attending dermatology conferences, and lectures.
